In November, NODES was presented as part of an Open Science Slam at the University of Konstanz. A science slam is an event event where researchers present their scientific work in an entertaining, short talk to a general audience, who rank the presentations and select a winner. In this specific slam, the focus was on how Open Science accelerates research and in what ways researchers incorporate Open Science practices in their own work. Although Maria did not win the science slam, she is proud to have encouraged the audience to collectively say „hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis“ several times during her presentation 🙂
